“Sarah made me feel comfortable and powerful. —
I was impressed with her questions for what type of career I needed the photographs and styles the sessions to compliment. The result is the most flattering headshots I have ever had.”
A few things you might be wondering..
On photo day, you'll join us at my East Austin studio off Airport & Springdale. Bring your favorite beverage, I'll provide snacks, and you can spend time with others in the community then step in-front of the camera when you're ready.
That’s completely normal. You don’t need to know how to pose or arrive feeling confident. I’ll guide you through small movements, natural shifts, and clear direction so you never have to guess what to do. The goal is to help you settle in, not perform.
For each Community Headshot, I curate 2 backdrop colors designed to work across a range of styles and skin tones. Colors are announced when bookings open. If you'd prefer to choose your own backdrop, hosting a Community Headshot or booking a Private Headshot may be a better fit.
Hair and makeup services are available for those who'd like them. Simply mention your interest when you inquire, and we'll explore the options together.
In the event that a Headshot Lounge doesn't meet the minimum number of participants, you'll receive a full refund.
Once an event is confirmed, deposits are non-refundable. This helps us plan thoughtfully and create the best experience possible for everyone attending.
Can't make it after all? You're welcome to transfer your spot to someone else.
Choose the option that feels right for you, and we'll take it from there.
LET’S SHAPE YOUR VISION
Before photography, there was movement
Years of dance taught me something I still use every day: people rarely look most like themselves when they're standing still and trying to get it right.
They look like themselves in action. Mid-conversation or doing what they love.
That's why movement is built into my process.
Not as a style choice. As a way of helping people settle into their own rhythm instead of performing for the camera.
