Emily and Carissa, the co-founders of RushTopFish, opened a new studio fusing their love for Pilates, Dance and fitness. They needed images that reflect their mission - an accessible neighborhood spot where ppl come to move, connect and feel good. They shared the brand vision and I translated it into a photo concept - bringing together their mission, studio space and FEEL of the neighborhood.

Before photography, there was movement
Years of dance taught me something I still use every day: people rarely look most like themselves when they're standing still and trying to get it right.
They look like themselves in action. Mid-conversation or doing what they love.
That's why movement is built into my process.
Not as a style choice. As a way of helping people settle into their own rhythm instead of performing for the camera.
